SithSpit version 2.Fail is… Go!

Some of you know (/pretentious) that previous to this site, I was running a blog titled mmohnoes on a now dead free-hosting service back before SW:TOR was officially announced. I created mmohnoes to index all the SWTOR info I could find and to use it as an outlet for me to complain about the state of MMOs in general.

It all started with this article I posted on gametrailers.com. The post immediately received the attention of GT.com staff whom called my research “bogus.” Seven days later, I felt vindicated.  Bioware and LucasArts had announced their alliance. A little over one year after that, I and the all the other believers were proven correct and SW:TOR was officially announced.

After my free service died, I attempted to revive mmohnoes (several times); however, I found that I wasn’t into the whole immature unwarranted emo complaining thing anymore. I was now out of the U.S. Marine Corps (had a lot of built up anger, stress, and down time in the USMC) and now going to college. I started the new blog, SithSpit, aimed solely at the unannounced Star Wars MMO (and improving my writing skills), with a post titled, “Getting Up To Speed” basically indexing all the pre-SW:TOR annoucement info I found in the past. Unfortunately most of my original content from mmohnoes was lost (gg no backup – try googling it if you’re curious).

Shortly after SithSpit was created, I found that I don’t have as much free time as I previously thought. Between being a full-time college student and living an active real life, running a full time blog, writing all the content that I really want to write, and keeping up with all the content the community is creating just isn’t possible for me. So, this revival of SithSpit (dubbed version 2.fail) is being designed specifically for me to have the outlet I very much want and to ensure I’m not breaking any promises I cannot keep to my faithful readers.

I feel that the original SithSpit was a failure due to my over ambition. The Smuggler’s Bay was a failure due to it’s limited nature and my need to be free (I got bored of writing about the smuggler profession fast). As this new theme seems to suggest, the new content flow will be slow. I will not be posting daily. I may not even be able to post weekly. I will be posting original content (when I can) that I feel will be greatly appreciated by those in the community who soak up every last detail regarding Star Wars: The Old Republic.

My promise to you, the reader, is that SithSpit version 2.fail will feature in depth content regarding anything that I find compelling and/or lacking in the SW:TOR community. I may post Fan Fiction or Theory Craft. I may feature my opinion on the stupidity of the official forums or the dissection of newly availablegameplay footage. Pretty much what ever I feel like at the moment, when I have the time.

All that being said – Version 2.Fail is…  Go! Expect new content within the next 24 hours.
